Islamabad: Wine bottles, weapons seized
ISLAMABAD: The police on Monday arrested ten people in various areas of the city and recovered 102 wine bottles and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.
The Shehzad Town police team headed by ASI Sajid Mehmud during checking in the area signaled a Suzuki Mehran to stop. The car driver tried to speed away, but the police team managed to intercept it and recovered 100 wine bottles from it. The police arrested the driver, Shehbaz Qaisar. Meanwhile, Aabpara police arrested Nadeem Boota Masih for having two wine bottles while Sabzi Mandi police arrested Ismail for possessing a Kalashnikov and ammunition. The CIA police recovered 30 bore pistol from an accused Ismail.
