Police nab 36 suspects in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police in last two days nabbed 16 outlaws involved in different criminal cases and recovered 127 bottles of wine, one motorbike, four pistols and mobile phone from them, a police spokesman said on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Rawalpindi Police has detained 20 suspected while taking action against drug traders and illegal weapon holders. According to details, Sabzi Mandi police arrested an accused identified as Muhammad Faqir during checking at Nescom police picket and recovered a 30-bore pistol with 11 bullets and two magazines. Koral police recovered one 30-bore pistol with four bullets on disclosure of an accused Manazir Mushtaq, while Margalla police arrested an accused Muhammad Sadiq and recovered on Motorbike from his possession.
Industrial Area police recovered one 30-bore pistol with two bullets on the disclosure of a culprit Jamshed Khan, while police also recovered 38 bottles of wine from Parvez Masih. CIA police arrested two culprits identified as Tahir Mehmood and Awais Masih and recovered 12 bottles of wine and 77 tin packs of beer, while on the disclosure of an accused Muhammad Ali, police also recovered mobile phone. Kohsar and Bhara Kahu police stations arrested five culprits on violation of section 144.
Cases have been registered against above mentioned accused and further investigation is underway. Rawalpindi Police has detained 20 suspected while taking action against drug traders and illegal weapon holders. New Town Police recovered 520 grams drugs, Murree Police recovered 715 grams drugs, Buni Police recovered 4 liters alcohol, Jatli Police recovered 10 liters alcohol, while in several raids Cantonment Police, Wah Cantonment Police, Gojjer Khan Police recovered 46 bottles of liquor.
