10 arrested in raids in Karachi
KARACHI: The District East police on Monday arrested10 people including four target killers involved in killing 26 people. SSP East Pir Muhammad Shah told The News that raids were conducted after information of target killers hiding in different parts of the city was received.
Policemen belonging to the Sharea Faisal police station arrested Asgar Khan and Muhammad Gulfarm. According to police both the accused were involved in killing 17 people and were activists of a political party.
In another raid by the same personnel Yasir Khan was arrested from a hideout in the Civil Aviation Colony. The accused was said to be involved in the killing of seven people.
The Brigade police arrested Shehryar, accused of killing two people, from Lines area.
Both the police stations also claimed to have arrested six street criminals and recovered looted valuables and arms and ammunition from them.
