Man arrested with heroin at Islamabad airport
Rawalpindi: The customs staff deployed at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIA) arrested a passenger in possession of 450 grams of heroin powder concealed in cigarettes, the airport sources said.
Zaid bin Shoukat, son of Shoukat Ali, resident of Ward No. 27, Gujar Khan, bearing Passport No. AS5179941, was travelling from Islamabad to Italy via Dubai by flight EK 615 at 3:10 a.m. on Wednesday. At about 1:15 a.m., the passenger reached customs check–point. During checking of his luggage, the customs staff recovered around 450 grams of heroin powder filled in cigarettes.
