Mardan: 3 booked in land grabbing case
MARDAN: On the directives of additional district and sessions judge, the police have registered a case against three people for allegedly occupying land and threatening a retired major of the Pakistan Army.
The police say Mohammad Arif Khan, a resident of Mohallah Karim Khan Mayar and a retired Major from the Pakistan Army, submitted an application in the court of ASJ Ikhtiar Khan. He said that on May 26, he went to his fields to harvest wheat crop but his brother Mohammad Idrees along with Abdur Rehman and his son Abdur Rasheed allegedly stopped him as they had occupied his land .He added that his brother was now hurling threats to him. On the directive of the judge, the police registered case against the accused under the Pakistan Penal Code.
