12 lawbreakers including 7 gamblers rounded up
RAWALPINDI: The police have arrested 12 lawbreakers, including seven gamblers besides recovering three pistols of 30 bore with nine rounds, 300 litres of petrol, 15 litres of diesel, cash worth Rs 12,600, and other items from the possession of arrested accused.
According to the Rawalpindi police spokesperson, the Naseerabad police acting on a tip-off conducted a raid in Pind Rangha and held seven persons who were allegedly involved in betting while playing cards. The police also recovered cash worth Rs 12,600 stake money, five mobile phones, and other items from them. The Cantt police netted another accused for having one illegal pistol of 30 bore with three rounds. The Cantt police also nabbed a person for possessing a 30-bore pistol with three rounds. The Kalar Syedan police also recovered a pistol from another accused. The Civil Line police raided at an illegal petrol agency and arrested a man. The police also recovered 60 litres of petrol and 15 litres of diesel while the Saddar Baroni police also recovered an accused of having 240 litres of petrol.
