Rawalpindi: 22 lawbreakers rounded up; liquor, weapons recovered
RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi police in its continued drive against the anti–social elements have arrested 22 lawbreakers, besides recovering 28 bottles of liquor, 155 litres of wine, 510 grammes of charas, 12 pistols of 30 bore with 66 rounds, and one rifle of 12 bore with three rounds from the possession of the arrested accused during the last three days.
According to the Rawalpindi police spokesperson, the Gungmandi police arrested an accused for possessing 11 bottles of liquor. Another man was sent behind the bars for having 11 bottles of liquor. The Sadiqabad police arrested a man and recovered 510 grammes of charas from his possession. The Pir Wadhai police seized 150 litres of wine from the possession of another accused. The Sadiqabad police nabbed a man who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
