600 flour bags seized in Bannu
BANNU: The police on Tuesday seized 600 flour bags, which were being smuggled to Peshawar, official sources said. The sources said that acting on a tip-off, the police barricaded the Bannu–Kohat Road and pulled over a truck 8,226.
On thorough search, the police recovered 600 bags provided by the World Food Programme (WFP) for the IDPs were being smuggled to Peshawar. The police also arrested the truck driver Rahim Shah, a resident of Ring Road in Peshawar.
