Hangu: 2 extortionists held from Afghan refugee camp
HANGU: The police Wednesday arrested two extortionists in a raid in Afghan Refugees camp in Lakhti Banda, official sources said. They said that the members of the trader community had complained to the police that unidentified persons were threatening them for extortion money.
After the complaint, an investigation team tracked the location of the accused through global positioning system and raided the Afghan Refugee camp. The police rounded up the accused identified as Nawab and Gul Khan who were Afghan refugees and seized a Kalashnikov, rifle and five subscriber identity module (SIM) cards from them. The police also recovered five Kalashnikovs from another house in the camp during the raid.
