Lahore: 2 booked for demanding extortion money from trader
LAHORE: Misri Shah Police have registered a case against two people for demanding Rs 4 million extortion money from a trader.
Complainant Hafiz Mahmood Ahmad told the police that accused Imran and Younas had been demanding Rs 1 million as extortion. Over refusal, they opened fire at his house. Now, the accused had started demanding Rs4 million and hurling life threats, the trader told the police. Police have started conducting raids to arrest the accused.
