Islamabad: 6 held, stolen car, 56 wine bottles recovered in Capital
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested seven outlaws’ from various areas of the city and recovered stolen car, weapons, 56 wine bottles and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said. According to details, Kohsar police nabbed a bootlegger Irfan Masih and recovered 34 wine bottles from him while Bilal Iqbal and Hassan Nawaz were arrested by Shalimar police in possession of six cans of beer. Tarnol police recovered a 30 bore pistol from an accused Salman while two wine bottles were recovered from SlaimMasih by Industrial area police. Similarly, Banigala police apprehended Aslam Masih in possession of 20 wine bottles.
Anti–car lifting cell of Islamabad police recovered a car (ADC–355) from Khurram Shehzad which was found stolen from Saddar police station area of Gujrat. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. While reviewing this overall performance, SSP Islamabad AsmatUllahJunejo has directed to ensure effective policing in the city and nab criminal elements.
