TTP militant arrested in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: The federal capital police on Monday arrested a terrorist and recovered hand grenades, detonators and explosives from his possession.
The senior superintendent police (SSP) said that the police during a search for suspected person in Aabpara Market area of the federal capital arrested the terrorist. “Two hand grenades, detonators and explosives material were recovered from the possession of the detained terrorist,” he added. The SSP said that the accused belongs to the banned militant organisation Tehreek–e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and hails from South Waziristan Agency (SWA).
