12 ‘terrorists’ nabbed in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: Law Enforcement Agencies arrested 12 terrorists in an operation here in Islamabad on Saturday.
According to intelligence sources, a search operation was launched in Islamabad’s areas of Shehzad Town and Koral in which 12 suspected terrorists were arrested. It is said that the suspected terrorists included an Afghan national.
Others belong to Balochistan’s Loralai and Bajaur tribal agency. Hand grenades, detonators, explosives and maps of the capital were recovered during the operation. A terrorist identified as Mukammal Khan who was arrested from Farash Town of the capital is said to be a member of Al–Qaeda and Tehreek-e–Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
