Peshawar: KP NAB arrests fraud accused
PESHAWAR: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday arrested an accused for allegedly looting millions of rupees from innocent people fraudulently.
As per the NAB’s communiqué, the accused Arif Shahzad collected money from general public for investing in his business of pickles and tea.
The NAB claimed that the accused was used to give profit to the investors and affectees for a few months and then stopped payment. He didn’t refund the invested money to the people. It said the accused would be produced before the accountability court for obtaining his physical remand today.
