60 Afghans held in Hangu
HANGU: The police claimed to have arrested 60 Afghan nationals and 20 suspected persons in crackdown here on Tuesday.
Talking to reporters, District Police Officer (DPO) Anwar Saeed Kundi said that the police along with the personnel of law–enforcement agencies raided various camps and localities in the Thall, Doaba and Hangu town and arrested 60 Afghan nationals for having no legal documents. He said that 20 suspected persons were also rounded up and shifted to police stations for interrogation. “The operation against the illegal Afghan nationals would continue until the next directives by the provincial government,” the DPS said.
