45 suspects, 15 outlaws held in capital
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested 45 suspects during a search operation conducted in various areas of the city, a police spokesman said on Monday.Police teams conducted search in the areas of Merabadi, Sector F-12, Dhoke Paracha, Sector G-11/4, Sector F-10, Sector G-8, Sector G-9 and under-construction buildings there.
They succeeded to nab 45 suspects who are being investigated further. Meanwhile, Islamabad police have arrested 15 outlaws including seven gamblers from various areas of the city, besides recovering stolen car, laptops, stake money and looted items from their possession.
On a tip-off, Nilore police raided at Darkal area and arrested seven gamblers who were later identified as Ejaz, Aqil Hussain, Iftikhar, Jabbar, Abbas, Tanveer and Yasir, besides recovering stake money and tools from their possession.
Aabpara police arrested a car-lifter Sanaullah red–handed and recovered a stolen car from his possession. Police team also arrested an accused Bilal and recovered 38 bullets of 30-bore from him.
Kohsar police arrested accused Sidra and recovered stolen laptop from him. CIA police recovered stolen mobile phone from an accused Lak Mir Khan while Sabzi Mandi police arrested two Afghan nationals Mohsin Khan and Gul Khan for their involvement in theft.
Banigala police arrested two accused Bilal and Noshad for decanting gas in cylinders illegally.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is under way.
