Islamabad: 16 nabbed in capital over immoral activities
ISLAMABAD: Ramna police have arrested 16 persons including a few girls over their involvement in immoral activities.
According to details, Ramana police searched one house in Sector G-12 of the capital and arrested five females and four men.
In another case, the same police station apprehended four females and three men, as they searched another house.
All the accused have been charged with involving in immoral activities. Police have booked them under section 371 A-B PPC. Further investigation is under way.
Meanwhile, Islamabad police have arrested 25 outlaws including seven gamblers from various areas of the city, besides recovering stolen car, laptops, stake money and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.
On a tip-off, Golra police raided sector G-12 area and arrested six gamblers who were later identified as Ashraf, Imran, Ashraf Sajjad, Falak Sher, Nazeer and Iqbal. A Police team recovered stake money and tools from their possession.
Meanwhile, Golra police also recovered one 30–bore pistol along with ammunition from the possession of Muhammad Tanveer. Margalla police arrested an accused Adeel Aziz while Aabpara police arrested Qaisar for decanting gas in cylinders illegally.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is under way. Separately, Islamabad police arrested 76 suspects during search operation in various areas of the city.
Police teams conducted search in the areas of Dhoke Jilani, sector G-13, Dorray, sector G-11/4, Bani Gala, sector F-8 and under-construction buildings as well as plazas there.
They succeeded to nab 76 suspects who are being investigated further.
