Peshawar: KP police arrest 443 suspects, recover arms
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police in the ongoing search and strike operation throughout the province against criminals and anti–social elements arrested 443 suspects and recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition.
As per details, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police in the operation conducted in different parts of the province recovered 36 arms and ammunition of different kind and 351 rounds of different bore.
During the operation, 613 houses and 230 hotels were checked and 39 cases were registered against the violators.
During snap checking on 266 check points, 185 suspects were held and recovered 17 arms of different kind and 402 cartridges of different bore.
During action against illegal Afghans, a total of 57 persons were detained on violation and 28 cases were registered against them.
Similarly for the last one month, 160 persons were arrested on violation of illegal use of loudspeaker and 101 loudspeakers were seized.

Similarly, 62 hate materials were seized and 30 cases registered against 35 persons.
Security inspections of 1181 educational institutions were also carried out and various institutions were advised to further beef up security arrangements.
