Islamabad: Drug trafficker arrested from BBIA
ISLAMABAD: The Anti–Narcotics Force (ANF) on Tuesday arrested an alleged drug trafficker from Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIA) Islamabad and recovered heroin capsules ingested in his body.
According to details, the ANF, on a tip-off, detained a passenger at BBIA, identified as Noor Qasim, resident of Kurram Agency, on suspicion of having ingested heroin capsules. During interrogation, the accused confessed to having digested 45 heroin capsules. He intended to fly to Abu Dhabi by PIA flight number PK-219. The accused was shifted to Rawalpindi Benazir Bhutto Hospital for the recovery of the capsules. A case has been registered against the detainee at the ANF police station and further investigation is under process.
