Sialkot: Customs foils bid to smuggle heroin
SIALKOT: The Customs Intelligence officials foiled a bid to smuggle heroin to England from Sialkot and seized several small sized packets of heroin secretly kept in cloths, during checking at foreign customs office at Sialkot General Post Office.
Accused M Akram Sharif, a resident of Khadim Ali Road Sialkot, booked a parcel for England from Sialkot. Customs Officials Syed Khalid Javaid Shah, Akmal Hussain Shah and Syed Arshad Kamal checked the parcel and detected several small sized heroin packets hidden in the women’s clothes.
Customs officials have registered a case against accused Muhamamd Akram Sharif and started raiding various places to ensure early arrest of the accused.
