11 suspects arrested in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 11 suspects during search operation in various areas of the federal capital on Thursday.
A spokesman of police said that on directives of IGP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan to all SDPOs and SHOs for enhancing patrolling as well as checking in various areas of the city and conduct search operation at slum areas, Afghan habitats, under construction buildings, workshops, bus stands and inns, the sub–divisional police officers performing in Islamabad headed this search operation in jurisdictions of Aabpara and Industrial Area police stations.
They succeeded to nabbed 11 suspects who are being investigated further. SSP Islamabad has said the purpose of this search operation and high vigilance is to ensure foolproof security in the city and he further directed all SHOs to continue it. He has also appealed the citizens to remain vigilant and inform police in case of any suspicious activity around them.
