CTD arrests militant in Peshawar
PESHAWAR: The Counter–Terrorism Department (CTD) on Thursday arrested a militant carrying head money of Rs500,000 during an action in Peshawar.
According to the officials of the CTD, the alleged militant Malik Noor, son of Shermat, a resident of Bara in Khyber Agency, was arrested during an action in the limits of Matani Police Station in Peshawar. The action was carried out on the information of an intelligence agency. He was said to be wanted to the police in terrorism cases and belonged to a banned militant organisation. The CTD official said the provincial government had placed a head money of Rs500,000 on the militant.
