Islamabad: NAB arrests 2 for corrupt practices
ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested Muhammad Ahmed Nadeem, director of Ahmed Nadeem Securities Pvt Ltd. He was involved in corruption and corrupt practices by way of cheating public at large.
The accused dishonestly and fraudulently collected amount to the tune of Rs 85 million from general public and later refused to return money, thus depriving them to their hard–earned money.
In another case NAB arrested Malik Irshad Ahmad, sub-divisional officer, irrigation department of Punjab, in case of accumulation of assets worth Rs 67 million through corrupt practices. According to NAB, the accused started his career as a low grade employee in irrigation department and has made assets worth millions of rupees.
