QUETTA: Three policemen, including an assistant sub–inspector (ASI), were wounded when armed men ambushed a police mobile in Quetta on Wednesday night. According to police, the incident occurred in the precincts of Shalkot police station when armed men opened firing on a police mobile which was patrolling in the area. Three policemen were wounded who were taken to Quetta Civil Hospital for medical aid. The assailants fled the scene.
LANDI KOTAL: Two security officials were injured when militants ambushed their convoy in Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency on Thursday. Officials said that the convoy was on its way from Jansi camp to Gogra area when militants attacked it. As a result, lance naik Muntazir and hawaldar Khayal Nabi were injured. They were taken to military hospital in Peshawar. The officials said that the vehicle was also partially damaged in the attack. However, no one could be arrested.
KOHAT: Three policemen were killed when armed men ambushed their van in Hangu district on Thursday morning, police sources said. The patrol was on its way to the upper part of the district when it came under fire in Kotki area, they said, adding the assailants disappeared into the mountains after the ambush which left all three policemen on the van dead. The personnel were identified as Constables Mazhar Shah, who belonged to Bannu, Tahir Khan (Hangu) and Jehanzeb of Peshawar.
MARDAN: Five persons including a passer-by were killed when a rival group ambushed them in Galyara village in the limits of Shahbaz Garha Police Station on Sunday, police and local sources said. Former provincial minister and PML-N leader Abdus Subhan Khan was named in the first information report (FIR) registered at the police station by the mother of one of the deceased.

SHIKARPUR: Three brothers fell victim to revenge killing in katcha area in the limits of Kot Shahoo police station on Thursday. A group of armed men alleged to be Channi Teghani group, the brothers` rivals, ambushed Sojhiro Teghani, Wazeer Teghani and Nazeer Ahmed Teghani when they were returning home from Juma Khan Teghani village after attending a condolence gathering.
