According to the Dawn News, an assistant sub-inspector was shot dead allegedly by unidentified people near Doongi Ground in Allama Iqbal Town here on Monday. The motive behind the attack was said to be a property dispute. The police said Shahbaz Masih (45) had gone to a nearby park for a walk by his car where some unidentified people shot him dead.

Some unidentified armed persons shot dead Assistant Sub-Inspector Shabbar Hussain on Tuesday when he was heading towards city for duty on his motorcycle at Naupura, the Dawn News reported Wednesday.

As reported by The News, Additional Sessions Judge Khurshid Anwar Rizvi ordered a case against an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Nazakat Ali of the Kamoke City police on the charge of abducting a girl, Ayesha (14) and molesting her.
