HAFIZABAD: Kaleke police have smashed an inter–district gang of bike–snatchers and arrested its four members including ring leader Adnan alias Dani.
KARACHI: The Anti–Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested an alleged woman drug paddler and recovered 12 kilograms of heroin, 13 kilograms of charas and one kilogram of psychotropic crystal substance from her possession on Thursday. Acting on a tip-off, the ANF raided a hideout in Green Town in the Shah Faisal Colony police limits, and arrested Fauzia Bano after finding the huge quantity of drugs there.

LAHORE: As reported by The News on Friday, the Additional District and Sessions Judges on Thursday convicted two drug pushers nominated in two different narcotics cases. Additional District and Sessions Judge Chaudhry Muhammad Azam has awarded a two-year confinement with a fine of Rs 20,000 for convict Ameer on being found him guilty of possessing 1006 grams of hashish. Manga Mandi Police had arrested accused Amir and recovered the hashish from his possessions. In case of default in payment of fine, the convict will further undergo imprisonment for 15 days.
LAHORE: As reported by The News on Wednesday, Additional District and Sessions Judges on Tuesday convicted drug pushers nominated in different narcotics cases. Additional District and Sessions Judge Chaudhary Azam has awarded a six-month confinement to Nazeer Ahmed after he was proved guilty of possessing 115 grams of hashish. The court has also imposed a fine of Rs. 15,000 on the convict. In case of default in payment of fine, he will further undergo a 15-day imprisonment. Baghbanpura Police had arrested Nazeer in January.
LAHORE: As reported by The News on Sunday, Additional District and Sessions Judge Chaudhry Muhammad Azam on Saturday awarded life imprisonment each to two drug pushers namely Sher Shah and Gour Shah.
